Justine Temke founded Midwest Doulas to help create the best birth and postpartum experiences for growing families. While working as a private doula, Justine and quickly realized that the best births happen when families are well-informed and well-supported.
Midwest Doulas was formed to offer a strictly team-based model of doula care, which means there’s always a familiar face ready to support you and your partner or birth family — no matter when your delivery occurs. Justine and her team of doulas work tirelessly to provide the evidence-based education and non-judgemental support growing families need to navigate their birth and postpartum journeys
Justine Temke, Founder
Justine was born and raised in France, and that unique worldview drives her passion to educate and support women. She loves to share her knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding and strives to empower women and their families by providing compassionate support during and after pregnancy.
Professionally and personally, Justine has experienced many routes to childbirth – non-medicated, medicated, cesarean, water, home, and hospital. With open-minded, non-judgmental support, she wants you to have the tools you need to make the choices that will result in your best birth.
Justine is a (CD)DONA birth doula, Certified Lactation Education Counselor (CLEC), HypnoBirthing certified doula, trained postpartum doula, certified “Baby-Spinner” (spinningbabies.com), and provides placenta encapsulation services.
